Well, the annual AGM has come and gone and with that, we have a new Executive elected.

Well, some new faces.  :D  Barbara Percival is now the president, Don Lord is the Vice President, returning as Secretary is Cathy Jung, Joanne Lord retains the spot of Treasurer, Nigel will continue to pop out a Windsox once in a while ( ) and I (David Hathaway) remain as the webmaster.

Just a short jaunt down the road, the Whidbey Island Kite Festival is one of the best little festivals in the Pacific Northwest. For me, it was the very first festival I ever went to back in 1996 and it remains a gem. if you need information on getting there, places to stay or the sport kite competitions, look no further, it’s all right here :

Well, after a much delayed arrival of summer in Vancouver, it looks to have finally made an extended appearance. And, it’s JUST in time for the BCKA August Fun Fly, which is being held at Centennial Beach this coming Sunday, August 7th. Come out and have a great time with us on the sand!

It’s now mere days away and we have a poster with some information. Hope to see you all there!
