Dear BCKA members…
As some of you may know, the 1st Annual Victoria Kite Festival at Clover Point last June was a huge success. Plans are underway for the 2nd Annual festival on May 29, 30, 31. One of the events at the festival was the children’s bol kite races. See link for a short video https://youtu.be/2PusAZkjuOo . Fellow kite maker, Mario De Lucca is currently working on making a set of these bol kites for the Club to use at its various festivals. He is requesting help by anyone willing to share in the making of them, or by donating some material. Each bol has 48 panels and takes approximately 3.5 yards of material of any color.
